Hi friends!
Today I´m
going to talk about a game that I played when I was a child. It´s looks like we
always have to write about our childhood, but mine was great so I don´t care
about it :D. When I was a child I liked to play all kinds of games like “capture
the flag” (there are two teams with his own base and you have to took the
others team flag), to play “commandos” (similar to “capture the flag” but you
have to catch an enemy) or play at small boats like Popeye or Simbad. Also I liked
to play at arcades machines (my favorite game was The King of Fighters 98), but
my favorite game was called “invasion”. This game was a mix between capture the
flag, commandos and the boats. There are two teams on play and you are in a
large team of ten members, more or less, and there is one base. The objective
of the play was to infiltrate the enemy base and took an object (usually a
toy). The first team has to attack and then defend the toy. It was amazing
because all the members of the team had a role on the game. I was the guy who
always get at prison (a part of the base where you put the captured enemies) because
my mission was to explore the area and detect the enemies. I had to draw maps
and even use camouflage. I felt like a ninja. When we were in defense position,
my role was to explore the periphery of the base and attack the enemy team. We
used to play with bows and arrows, swords and armor. All the stuffs were made
of wood. I don´t remember the last game of invasion that I’ve played, but it
was when I was at Los Lagos, so my age was 12 years old, approximately. I
enjoyed this game because were a play of intelligence, dexterity, speed and
imagination, and we all used to past a great time with it. It is a great memory
of my childhood.
See you
next week, bye bye!
The tunnel of Los Lagos was an excelent place to game invasion. The base was ubicated above the tunnel. |
