Hello friends!
Today I´m going to talk about my personal experience at 27/F earthquake. That
day I was at Valdivia. It was a warm summer night and I was with my girlfriend
of that time at her house. We were watching
movies when the quake began. The first time I tough was that the movement was
produced by the motion of the coach, but when the heavy part of the quake
started we really realize that the movement weren´t a game. We had to leave the
house and went to the street. All the people at the neighborhood were at
street. Then I had to go to my house and all the people of my family were
crazy!!! My grandma was crazy because she lived the big earthquake at 1960.
That was the biggest earthquake of the history and she remembers every moment
of that day. All the old people of my neighborhood were screaming: “run to the
hills” because they tough that the sea were moving to the city. I tried to calm
down my grandma and a neighbor switched on the radio of the car (the electric energy
was useless) and we listen that the epicenter of the quake was at Concepción. The
seismic movement didn´t affect to my family or my friends because Valdivia is
far from Concepción, but I have a uncle that lives in Conce and our preoccupation
was for him, but finally he could communicate with us. The day after the
earthquake I went across the city observing the damage of the structures,
streets and buildings. I took a lot of pictures that day to catch that moment
for ever. Valdivia hadn´t very much damage but the center of the city loses a
couple of buildings and trees at the central square. That was my experience at
27/F.

Mechita´s life.
Hi,
fellows! Today I’m going to talk about a pet. I love animals, but I don´t like
the “pet” word because this word is linked to another words like “master” or “owner”
and I don’t think that the animals are objects
or holdings. However, in the recent story of my life I shared it with a singular
life form knows as “cat” and it name is “Mechita”. This cat came to my life at
summer classes before the general student strike at 2011. That year we had to
take classes at summer holydays because the riot. It was a very hot summer and
we felt like losers because our objectives weren´t accomplished. I was at “pircas”
at January and a girl was giving a little dirty, crier and white female cat. I
saw it and I was concern about the future of that poor and lonely creature, so I
took it to my home and I teach it how to survive in the big city. Mechita is a
very restless cat, like a tiger-monkey. It special act consist in a back flip
above the furniture of my house, even the roof was use like stage. Actually,
Mechita lives with my mom and sister at Valdivia, because the life at south is
better and healthier that the life here at capital city. Every time I visit my
home, Mechita jumps of happiness and it is a very special feeling, because it symbolizes
the link between a human and a cat. That link is beyond the relation
owner-holding, is a friendship link between equals.
Galford is a character of Samurai Showdown, a fight videogame. He and Poppy the dog are inseparable companions. It´s a relationship between equals.

Hi fellows!
Today I’m
going to talk about something I would like to learn. Back in time, when I was a
little child in a lost town at south, my dream was to learn the ancient blacksmith´s
trade. This can be very curious but it have a reason, so I’ll explain it: my
favourite video game at those times was a game called “Diablo II” (it wasn´t a
satanic game just in case) and in that game you can control a hero that wields
a big variety of weapons and armours. The best thing I remember of that game
was the ability to create your own stuff at town´s blacksmith using different combinations
of metal, magic and other things (like Minotaur leather, dragon scales, etc.).
Depend of the combination and your dexterity level, the objects that you create
was bad or good. When I play that game, immediately I wanted to learn how to do
swords, chest plates, chain mails, axes, etc. Actually, this dreams is incomplete
and someday I would like to make it real, because I think that is a good way to
earn money, do exercise and be part of a millennial work, that found the pilots
of our civilization.

Hi folks!
This was the first semester that I take
this class. I had not had English subject since I was at high school. This was
my reencounter with the English language and it was a very grateful experience.
I enjoy this subject because is a theoretical and practical way to learn English
and the class is not boring like Hydrology or SIG. My favorite post was the
post about your favored TV show at childhood, because it brought to me many
memories and some nostalgic thoughts.
I have not a least favorite post. I think
that all the post and all the activities in this semester were funny and
enjoyable experiences. I enjoy very much to read the blog of Anita, because the
blog show a part of her life and she is my friend. Also, Sofia gave me cookies
every class. The most attractive blog is Charlotte´s. The Charlotte´s blog is awesome!!!
The conclusion of this semester is that the
blog way to learn English is a very good tool to make the subject, because it
is a mixture between fun, language and work. I hope that all my classmates thinks
in that way, it’s a very good group and I ill waiting the next semester!
Hi dudes!
This week I’m going to talk about my favorite TV show of all times: Rurouni Kenshin, also called Samurai X. This TV show is an anime (an animation based on a comic, called “manga”) broadcasted at the 90s on Chilevisión and Cartoon Network (at El Club de los Tigritos and Toonami respectively). The anime is based on the life of Kenshin Himura, a swordsman called “The legendary Battousai, the Manslayer” 10 years after the Meiji Revolution (the anime takes place in Japan). Himura is a wandering samurai that travel around Japan to search for redemption for his past crimes. At the Meiji Revolution, he was an assassin at the orders of the Ishin Shishi Clan, the revolutionary party at those times, and he fought against the Imperial Shogun and his elite police, the wolves of Miburo, the Shinsengumi. He is described as a master of the most powerful style of sword art, the ancient Hiten-Mitsurugi Ryu. After the Revolution Meiji, he begins his journey promising not to kill anymore. He wields a sakabatou, a reverse-blade katana, to maintain his promise. He arrives to Tokio, and meets Kamiya Kaoru, a teacher of art sword. The history begins in that point. This is my favorite TV show of all times because the history of Kenshin is the history of redemption, is the search for the forgiveness of all the enemies that he killed at the Revolution. For Kenshin, the punish for his crimes is to live. 100% reccomendable.
